    On the 3rd July, Worcester College of Technology celebrated their annual Further Education Awards Evening at The Guildhall in Worcester. Students and guests ‘rolled up’ to an evening filled with ‘Circus Carnival’ delights, to celebrate students’ achievements throughout the academic year. 

  • College Name Sets Out To Win The Hearts Of Learners Across Worcestershire

    North East Worcestershire College and Worcester College of Technology have set out to win the hearts of learners’ across Worcestershire, as their new name ‘Heart of Worcestershire College’ has been approved by the recently appointed Skills Minister, Nick Boles.

  • Lecturer Share her Magic Moments with Students


    Sharron Chapman, who is a lecturer at Worcester College of Technology is a busy woman. Not only is she lecturing at the College but she is also running her own private day care business and after school club, meaning that she is able to share her skills and expertise to her students. 

  • Sports Student Paddles for Gold


    Level 3 Sport Science student Will Bird from Worcester College of Technology has made his country proud, as he won gold in the K2 (two man event) 200 metres in just 33.42 seconds, at the Junior Kayaking World Cup Event, held in Slovakia on the 1st June 2014. Will and his team mate, Jack Childerstone, qualified to represent Great Britain in the World Cup Event after winning a national qualifier held in London.

     

  • All Hands On Deck for Travel & Tourism Students


     

    Travel & Tourism students from Worcester College of Technology set sail as they boarded the renowned Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) Cruise Ship in the Southampton Dock. The visit provided the students with a valuable opportunity to experience the Cruise Industry, helping them consider their career options after leaving the College.
