Computing & IT Facilities

Worcester College of Technology has a well-established Computing and IT department. We have an IT Study Centre with 70 computers, four dedicated IT teaching rooms as well as two specialist hardware/networking laboratories.

All classrooms are equipped with high-specification computers with flat screen monitors. We replace our computers every 3 years, so they are all of a good specification to run the specialist software the various courses demand.

All computers have Internet access. Students will have individual email accounts and 24/7 access to the College intranet, which hosts a variety of learning and teaching resources required for the course. Students are also able to access their home directories from home via a secure VPN connection.
