Spires TheatreThe Performing Arts department boasts a professionally equipped theatre in St. Andrews' building with a state-of-the-art computerised lighting system, sound systems and multiple stage and seating positioning.

Spires theatre includes:

  • Versatile staging allowing for Theatre-in-the-round, thrust stage, promenade and proscenium theatre
  • 95 seat collapsable auditorium
  • Fat Frog lighting desk including moving gobo lights and two programmable MAC 250 lights
  • Cyclorama projector

In addition, there are three other rehearsal spaces including a mirrored dance studio with a 42" plasma TV and state-of-the-art soundsystem.

As well as the large study centre that we share with the rest of the General Education department, our specialised Music & Performing Arts study centre includes books, specialised computers and three small, but well equipped practice rooms.

Rag Bag 2012 - Level 2 students perform their first project Wed 2nd May 7.30 pm
Showcase 2012 - Extended Diploma students final major project Wed 16th and Thursday 17th May 7.30pm
Cabaret - The Musical 30th May, 31st May and 1st June 7.30pm
