The Law School

Law SchoolThe Law School which is based at Worcester College of Technology in St. Wulstans' Building was established in 1979.  We are unique in providing a mix of further education and higher education law courses.  There are eight permanent teaching staff, five part-time staff and an administrator.  Our visiting professor is Anthony Bradley, who was a professor of Constitutional Law at Edinburgh University.

We currently have about 300 students from a far reaching catchment area around the West Midlands.

We have two special features:

  • Small teaching groups
  • Strong links with the local legal profession - several local solicitors are Fellows of the Law School - this helps our students to get jobs

We can help you realise your ambition to qualify as a barrister or solicitor.  We can give you a general legal qualification with lots of practical skills and work experience which keeps your options open for a career as a solicitor, barrister, legal executiveor a legal secretary.

We have a friendly, supportive and stimulating learning environment.
