The Music Factory Study Centre is located on the ground floor of the Cathedral Building. The Study Centre caters primarily for students studying Music Technology including Music Production & Performance up to Higher National Diploma level. It is adjacent to a large “Roland Academy” Performance Area and three fully resourced music practice rooms.

What resources are available?
The resources available in the study centre include books, journals and AV materials. Apple Mac computers are available which provide access to both the Internet and a range of software packages including Pro Tools, Logic, Final Cut and Dvd Studio Pro.
How do I borrow Items?
You will need your College ID Card to borrow items. Fines are charged if you don't return or renew them on time. You can reserve items that are already on loan and request items not in stock from other libraries.
How do I renew Items?
You can renew the items that you have borrowed by telephone, email library@wortech.ac.uk or in person unless they have been reserved by another user. Items can be renewed twice unseen and then need to be brought into a Study Centre before they can be renewed again.
How can I access Learning Support?
Learning support is also available from the study centre and is designed for students who feel they would benefit from assistance with, for example, researching assignments and spelling accurately.
Is technical support available?
Technical support is available for the hardware & software that is available within the Music Factory Study Centre.
