Worcester College of Technology has a Corporation of sixteen governors. The Corporation is responsible for determining the educational character and strategy of the College. Governors are volunteers and collectively they bring a wide range of skills and experience to the task of leading the College. They are drawn from a variety of backgrounds and include student and staff governors, as well as governors from private and public sector organisations.
The Corporation meets twice each term and governors also serve as members of the Corporation’s Committees. In addition, governors may have a link to a particular College Faculty or area of activity within the College in order to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the organisation.
If you are interested in becoming a college governor or would like to know more about the work of the Corporation, then contact Jenny Morris, Clerk to the Corporation, on 01905 743420.
