Rukhsana is a member of the Corporation’s Standards and Achievements Committee and Remuneration Committee. She is also ‘link governor’ for Equality, Disability & Diversity matters.
Rukhsana has a law degree and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1997. She works for Worcestershire County Council and is their first Corporate Diversity Manager.
She is the lead officer across all service providers on equalities and is responsible for the development and application of policies relating to the promotion of equal opportunities and elimination of unfair discrimination in the County Council’s services and employment.
