Continuing Photography

About this course

This course assumes that you have either taken the Starting Photography course, or have a reasonable grasp of their equipment, and wish to improve their skills in specific areas. You will have knowledge of the effects of changing aperture, shutter speed and film speed, and will have used a selection of lenses. You will be encouraged to examine the work of great photographers, both historical and contemporary.

Through discussion, practice and illustration, you will learn more about developing your own personal style and will be encouraged to improve your critical skills to improve picture making. In addition to the 7 evening sessions, there will be Saturday/Sunday photo location shoots or studio visits.
