AAT Diploma for Accounting Technicians Level 3 (Apprenticeship)

About this course

The aim of the programme is to enable students to achieve the appropriate level of the AAT Accounting Qualification. This will provide the student with the skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to undertake the demanding work of an accounting technician.

The programme is divided into three levels the second of which is the AAT Level 3 Diploma for Accounting Technicians which consists of the following units:

• Accounts preparation 1
• Accounts preparation 2
• Costs and revenues
• Cash management
• Indirect tax
• Professional ethics in accounting and finance
• Spreadsheets

This programme is available in the following modes of study:

• Wednesday (09.30-17.00)
• Wednesday (13.45-21.00)
• Wednesday and Thursday (17.45-21.00)

Upon successful completion of Level 3 you will be accredited with 160 UCAS points.

Entry requirements

Students can progress to this course if they have successfully completed AAT Level 2 Certificate for Accounting Technicians.

For a minority of students with specific experience or qualifications, it may be possible to enter the course straight into the AAT Level 3 Diploma for Accounting Technicians, and we can advise individuals about this.
