Perfect for anyone with a professional or amateur interest in the more technical side of motorcycles we provide essential knowledge for service technicians and bike owners working on motorcycles in all types of garages and dealerships.
With content taken from the FT Level 2 course we cover the technical needs of today’s motor vehicle repair industry, including diagnosis of straightforward system faults, maintenance and repair tasks, assembly and disassembly procedures.
This course involves a high percentage of practical work with many students bringing in their own bikes or projects. The staff are more than willing to adapt elements of the course to your particular needs; be it racing, modern fuelling systems, diagnostics, modifying or customising bikes- try us!
Entry requirements
No formal entry requirements although familiarity with mechanical systems, tools and motorcycle technology would be an advantage.
Assessment
The course follows the module structure for the "IMI level two course in Motorcycle Maintenance" and willing students will be entered for the module qualifications.
