3D Computer Aided Design Using Solidworks

About this course

This course progresses at a steady pace with the aim of helping students to become confident (if basic) Solidworks users. Over 10 weeks, we will cover production of 2D sketches and conversion of these to 3D parts. These will be used to produce mated assemblies and at each stage 2D drawings can be generated.

Immediately following this course, there will be an option to continue for a further 5 weeks (costing £195) to explore some of the more advanced features offered by the Solidworks software. These additional weeks will be used to cover optimisation of designs involving FEA, creation of drawing templates, modification and repair of parts, and configurations.
