Year 1- Subjects include communications for technicians, mathematics for technicians, science for technicians, CNC programming, primary forming processes and engineering materials.
Year 2- Subjects will include business systems for technicians, project, measurement and inspection techniques, drawing and CAD and pneumatics/hydraulics.
Entry requirements
GCSE/GCE at grades A, B or C which should include Mathematics, and preferably Physics or Science, English Language and Engineering Drawing.
BTEC First Certificate award/level 2 extended certificate
Consideration will also be given for previous attainment, maturity and experience.
Assessment
All assessment is by assignments completed throughout the year.
