Periodic Inspection and Testing C&G 2395-01

About this course

A 10 week evening course covering all the aspects of periodic inspection, testing and reporting of electrical installations.  The ten weeks are divided between the theorectical and practical aspects of the inspection and testing process, with the emphasis on the theory. A full set of course notes is provided for this qualification. Participants are encouraged to provide their own instruments for use on the course.

Entry requirements

Electricians must be qualified to C&G 2330 Level 3 and preferably NVQ Level 3. Learners will have successfully completed the 17th edition wiring regualtions.  It is strongly recommended that they also have at least two years experience following these qualifications.

Assessment

Written examination and practical assessments. Learners are reminded that the theoretical exam is closed book with no reference to any documentation.

What next?

While there is no set career progression following this qualification, previous successful learners have become qualifying managers within Electrical Installations companies.
