Who should attend

For those who work in a child care role with or aspiring to supervisory responsibilities e.g. day care supervisor, playgroup leader, childminder or community nursery nurse.

Course Content

To achieve the qualification, candidates must gain a minimum of 65 credits in total, comprising all the mandatory units.  Learners must select one mandatory pathway from Early Learning and Childcare (22 credits) or Learning Development and Support Services (must achieve 13 credits).  The remaining credits must be achieved in the optional pathway.

The Learning and Skills Development Officer will provide support and guidance in the selection of the appropriate units.
