Worcester has the best reputation for catering courses in the area and I was so pleased when I was offered a place. I love cooking in Spires Restaurant which is run by the college but open to the public. A typical day involves a couple of hours of theory followed by about 5 hours working in the kitchen cooking. I love being this close to the City Centre, it is a lively and exciting place to study.
Student Success
In February 2010 two VRQ Level 3 students, Alex and Lewis, competed in cooking competition Chef V Chef, which was held at Gloscat. Alex achieved first place and Lewis third. Alex then went on to compete in the final in October.
