Aimed at those individuals who hold a qualifying Law degree awarded within the last seven years.
Candidates will be exempt from the Level 6 Law units and thus will need to take two Level 6 Practice units and the Level 6 Client Care Skills unit.
Lessons for Ilex Level 6 subjects start at either 9.15 or 13.30 and are for three hours. In any particular subject the lesson happens either on Wednesday morning or Wednesday afternoon and is delivered in this way either from September to December or from January to May.
Entry requirements
Applicants must hold a qualifying Law degree awarded within the last seven years. Please note that entry is not restricted to those employed in solicitors' offices.
Assessment
There is one three-hour examination for each practice subject. Examinations are held in January & June. Client Care Skills is assessed by coursework tasks.
Students must enter for the examinations with ILEX. The college is not responsible for examination entries.
