This is your opportunity to join the thousands of part-time students already enrolled at the College. We are delighted to offer you a wide range of high quality part-time courses for 2012. Ensuring your success is very important to us and we want to make sure you go away with the right skills and knowledge for a great future.
Part Time Enrolment Dates:
For all courses based at Deansway and Malvern:
4th September 2012 10am - 8pm
For all courses based at Barbourne Campus for Art and Design/ Hair and Beauty:
10th July 2012 5-8pm
For courses that do not require an interview, you can enrol over the telephone or in person at St Wulstan’s Building, Deansway between 9am and 4.30pm Monday – Friday. If places are still available on a course, enrolment will continue until the start date of the course.
You will need to bring one of the following forms of ID with you to enrolment:
- Passport
- Driving Licence
- ID Card
- National Insurance Card
- Benefits document
- Exam certificates or Exam entry slips
- Bank card or debit card
- Other official documentation with details - e.g. a utility bill
Fees and How to Pay
The course fee in the brochure is the amount payable at enrolment. Additional costs apply for some courses which will cover materials or examination fees. For more information about additional costs, please see individual course pages or speak to an advisor before enrolment.
You can pay your course fees by cash, cheque, debit or credit card. All cheques are to be made payable to Worcester College of Technology. If your employer is paying for your fees, please bring a letter from your employer confirming the arrangement.
Instalment Option
Where your course fee exceeds £75, you may be able to spread the costs over a number of payment instalments. However, an initial payment will be needed to secure your enrolment on the course. Again, please speak to an advisor for more details. An instalment administration fee of £5 will be charged for this facility.
Studying Whilst Claiming Benefits
A number of our courses offer discounts for those unemployed on active benefits. If you are claiming discounted fees, you must enrol in person and bring evidence of your eligibility. Administration fees do not apply to students claiming benefits.
Course Prices
All course prices in this brochure include a £20 administration fee. If you enrol on more than one course during the academic year, a £20 deduction will be applied.
Course prices are subject to change due to amendments to the course funding criteria set by Government funding bodies. You will be told the most recent course price during enrolment, but please be aware that any price amendments are out of our control.
Where the duration of the course exceeds one year only the first year of fees is shown.
Refunds
Refunds of course and tuition fees will only be given in the following circumstances:
- When the College cancels a course
- When the learner withdraws from a course before the first meeting date (although an administration fee will be charged)
All other requests for fee refunds will be at the discretion of the Principal and can only be considered in exceptional circumstances
We reserve the right to cancel any course that does not meet minimum student numbers.
