Fees guidance for adults

This guidance applies to adult students aged 19 or over on 1st September on SFA funded FE courses.

Students will be eligible for remission from tuition fees on SFA Funded FE courses if any of the following apply (Note that other fees apply):

- If you are enrolled on a course defined by the LSC as a Basic Skills Course (This excludes ESOL) fees are only remitted for the basic skills part of the programme.

- If you are in reciept of one of the following active benefits: Work Related Activity Group (WRAG) ESA or Job Seekers Allowance (JSA). In either case, tuition fee remission can only be granted if the National Insurance Number is supplied. JSA remission not avaliable on full time courses. Students must be on eligible benefits at start of course.

- If you are on a Foundation Learning Entry or Level 1 AND working towards studying on a Level 2 course

If you qualify for Full Level 2 or Full Level 3 entitlement
