Visits to schools & community venues:
Primary schools
To help year 5 and 6 pupils relate their own abilities, attributes and achievements to career intentions we provide career education presentations in school.
Year 11 students
In order to inform year 11 students on the options available to them once leaving school, the liaison team presents on courses available, student life and the application process.
Sixth form students
For year 12/13 students interested in continuing on to undergraduate level courses, presentations can be arranged for them to find out about the Foundation Degrees, Higher National Diplomas, Higher National Certificate and Degree courses offered at the College.
Careers events
Members of the liaison team and lecturing staff can be available to attend career events to provide information on courses and course funding. The College has previously attended events organised by the jobcentre, community centres and Connexions.
