Learning credits for apprenticeships & careerships 

All young persons aged between 16-18 for careership / National Traineeships, 16-24 for Modern Apprenticeship (employment option only) wishing to undertake NVQ/GNVQ courses on a part-time basis are eligible to access a Learning Credit.

This will provide a suitable placement for those who are unemployed, fully funded training and a weekly allowance. Assistance for travel is also available to those unemployed.

Entry 2 Employment (E2E)
E2E is a new learning programme for young people between 16-18, designed to improve basic skills and develop the confidence to progress into further education or work.

Students will be entitled to a weekly training allowance of £20 part-time or£40 full-time and provision of a weekly travel pass. For more information, please contact your Personal Advisor at your local Connexions Service, Farrier House Worcester or call 01905 738900.

City & Guilds bursary scheme
The City & Guilds Bursary Scheme offers a small number of bursaries to people who are committed to learning but have financial barriers.
