Wendy - Counter Enquiry Assistant 

Variety...
Wendy is responsible for running the Enquiry Counter, which is attached to the College Office.   Her role is very busy and she enjoys meeting a wide variety of people in this customer centred environment.

Responsibility...
As an Enquiry Assistant Wendy receives all cash payments for the College including course enrolments, travel passes, takings from the College’s training Restaurant and Hospitality shop, the Refectory and Fountains Hair and Beauty Salon.

Wendy also takes all Exams payments, and issues certificates to the Students, and NUS cards.

Organisation...
Between dealing with students and lecturers at the counter Wendy makes up the outgoing post for the whole College, ensuring that everything is correctly franked and distributed.

Liaison...
When she has the opportunity Wendy contacts the bus and train companies to finalise arrangements for the new academic year and this is a very busy time for her with so many companies and students to liaise with to ensure that all the arrangements are in place in good time.

Experience...
Having worked in Banking for most of her life Wendy takes pride in making sure the till balances daily, and liaising with Finance if there is a problem.

Time to leave...
At 1.30pm Wendy hands over to her colleagues and heads home to walk her 2 dogs.
